- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆They have completely eliminated all non silver coins and all silver coins under the $1 denomination, as well as their jewelry, and basically are more into the bullion business than the coin collecting business anymore. Will no longer be buying anything from them since I collect coins and not bullion. The antique malls and stores have better selections and prices anyway.By Will Austerman, August 05, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Silvertowne has outstanding customer service, pricing is reasonable over spot, sleeved coins are sold based on chart value, collector supplies reasonably priced, and they pay silver spot pricing minus a reasonable fee for silver coins/bars/collectables and not the scrap pricing you find in pawn stores and such. One might find better pricing on some silver in some places, that is usually due to seller ignorance and/or buyer rapaciousness. You will always get a fair price here. This is not private sales, but a commercial business and as those go, this is the best deal you will find for your silver.
